Tom & Jerry are back on DVD
with another compilation of greatest hits; this time called The Chuck Jones Collection. Honestly, this is the best collection
of Tom & Jerry that you will find on DVD so far – although I’m sure they’ll come out with the “definitive
Tom & Jerry collection” eventually and it may have better shorts, but as of right now this is the best you’ll
find anywhere.
To me, Tom & Jerry are classic; almost up there with Looney Tunes… almost. If only
cartoons today were made with the same passion – I’d probably watch TV more often or at least let my kids watch
it.
This is a great set that will bring you down memory lane – definitely a must buy for old fans or new
ones looking to get into the series. And on a side note; the best box art I’ve seen for a Tom and Jerry DVD collection.
