Seven seasons already?
It seems like just yesterday everyone and their mom's were talking about the new Superman, or Superboy, show on The WB.
I remember hearing about all the buzz surrounding the show, and never giving any thought to watch it because I was such a
fan of Superman and knew that they would screw up each episode completely. But, finally a couple years ago I caved in,
watched the first season... and couldn't get enough. True, hardly any of the events actually happened to little
Clark Kent in the comic world, but I can easily look past that to see a stellar cast with above average writing and story
development. Season seven is oddly enough like many of the seasons
that precede it, which is the only reason for the lower than normal score. Every show that has been on television reaches
a point where it has to repeat the same storyline because every angle has been covered by previous episodes, and Smallville
has sadly reached that point. I'm not necessarily saying that the show should end, simply find other angles to cover
before fans look elsewhere for their nerd fix. Still a good addition to the Smallville
family despite the storyline flaws and deja vu.
